How do Solar Geysers work?

The vacuum tubes absorb the sun rays. The rays are then converted into heat energy. The heat produced is transferred to the water in the tubes, causing the water temperature to rise.

As the temperature rises, the water density reduces. The heated, less dense water rises in the tubes and moves into the main storage tank. The dense, cold water in the main storage tank moves down into the tubes to be heated. The water continuously cycles like this until all the water in the tank is heated.

Are Solar Geysers worth it?

Solar geysers might sometimes cost more to purchase and install than conventional water heating systems. However, a solar geyser can save you money in the long run.

On average, if you install a solar geyser, your water heating bills should drop 50%–80%. Also, because the sun is free, you’re protected from future fuel shortages and price hikes.
